Designed to fit only you!
Designed to fit only you!

When people ask how the idea came to be, I always say it started with my bra drawer.
One day, my husband asked why it was overflowing with bras—most of them still had tags. The truth? I’d been buying bras based on a measurement I was given at the most well-known lingerie store in the world. I trusted they knew what they were doing. I assumed the size they gave me was correct. But I was so wrong. I’d buy several cute styles in different colors—especially when they offered deals for buying multiples. At $60 to $80 each, I wanted to make sure I got it right. But when I got home and tried them on, each one fit differently. Some were too tight, others too loose, and none felt quite right.
It turns out, I’m not alone. Most women I’ve talked to have the same story—and just like me, they have two or three “go-to” bras that actually fit and feel good. The problem? Traditional measuring methods assume symmetry, but no two breasts are exactly the same. That’s when the idea struck: what if there was a new way to measure—one that treated each breast individually—to create a bra that truly fits? And by “fits,” I mean comfortably. Because a perfect fit should feel like it was made just for you—because it was.

After a lot of hard work, countless drawings, models and prototypes we filed for a patent. In April of 2021 our patent was granted! The gāge bra was officially born! The century old practice of measuring for a bra with a sewing tape is over!

They say that the first step in any journey is the hardest. We have been on this journey for 5 years and counting. We know what we want gage to become, we can see that it will make women's lives' better! gāge will be the first bra you won't want to take off!
